June is going to be busy!! It’s when everything in farming collides… We are planting close to 1000 plants per week, still sowing hundreds of seeds, weeding, compost tea spraying, netting and harvesting spring flowers for your homes! Some days can be overwhelming, but we just remember to take it one day at a time. It will all eventually get done, right?!
Our Members Market started up for the season on May 29th! We had tons of spring blooms and those who came loved making their own bouquets. We have added a u-pick section to our flower field and I’m so excited for our members to experience this! The market is also down at the flower barn so they will see where all the growing magic happens. We have a few member spots still available right now, so if you’ve been considering it, now is the time to commit! Who doesn’t want fresh flowers in their home all summer??
We were so excited to host a Bridal Flower Party a couple weeks ago! A bride and her 10 bridesmaids came out and used our freshly picked flowers to create their bridal bouquets. We also had Beth Fluty, with Fluty Flowers, come out to help the bride create her dream bouquet. It was truly such a special experience for the bride and her friends and family. I’m so glad we got to be a part of it!
Coming up, we have photo sessions at the farm! Emma Dorge and Kelsi Klliethermes will both be out here working their photography magic. I’m so excited to see the farm through their lenses!
